Basic Scientology Services

The church in Los Angeles is a friendly island of sanity where parishioners avail themselves of L. Ron Hubbard’s technology to better their lives and the lives of others. It is one of the 3,150 churches of Scientology, missions and groups that exist in 113 countries around the world.

The reason the Church of Scientology has grown so rapidly is because it is able to help so many people in every country in which it exists.

To enlighten those just beginning in Dianetics and Scientology, a local Scientology church delivers a full array of introductory and basic services, including lectures, introductory films, Dianetics workshops, introductory auditing, the Success Through Communication Course, Life Improvement Courses, special courses for children and other basic courses.

Introductory courses and activities provide much insight into the basics of Scientology and furnish data one can immediately apply to improve one's life.

Such services are usually short in length and can be done in a few evenings at a church or mission. Their value lies in the instant benefit one gains from practical answers to the problems of life.

To free people from the harmful effects of drugs and toxins, and thus speed their progress in Scientology, every church delivers the Purification Rundown procedure in a Purification Center. The largest local church Purification Center in the world exists at the Los Angeles church. The Purification Rundown facilities include two large saunas, running machines, spacious changing rooms with showers and lockers, and a vitamin bar.
