 Nelson Mandela International Day Human Rights Seminar

In celebration of Nelson Mandela Day the Los Angeles Chapter of United for Human Rights is presenting “What are Human Rights?” followed by a certification course for educators and human rights activists, where attendees will learn how to effectively teach the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to others.

Human Rights Seminar - Nelson Mandela International Day

Attendees will learn all 30 human rights in depth, and each will receive their own Educators Kit.  This includes a comprehensive Educators Guide, complete with lesson plans for every Human Right.  The kit additionally includes the award-winning mini documentary “The Story of Human Rights” and 24 copies of the booklet “What are Human Rights?” that can be given to students and adults alike.

The presentation will be delivered by South LA Human Rights Representative Fidel Gomez at the Church of Scientology of Los Angeles on 18 July 2021.  

Sign in and Continental breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the seminar starting at 10 a.m. This will go until 4 p.m. with a lunch break in between.
