Volunteer Ministers Food Drive 

The Church of Scientology Volunteer Ministers, in partnership with the Guatemalan Chamber of Commerce of Los Angeles, is providing food for those experiencing food insecurity in the East Hollywood Area. 

If you or someone you know needs this kind of assistance, all are welcome. The food drive will be in the church’s parking lot, starting at 10 a.m. and going until 3 p.m. or until the food is gone.

When: Sunday 27 Jun 2021, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

Where: Church of Scientology Los Angeles, 4810 Sunset Boulevard,
Los Angeles, CA 90027, two blocks west of Sunset and Vermont.

How to get there: Turn south on Sunset Boulevard onto L. Ron Hubbard Way and drive through the parking lot of the Church of Scientology. Recipients pop open the trunk and volunteers will place boxes of food inside. 

Why: According to the L.A. Food Bank, as many as 25 percent of L.A. County residents are struggling to access nutritious food.

Those walking should bring a box, bag or trolley to carry the food, wear a face mask and maintain social distancing.
